Introduction:

The School of Economics, XIM University Bhubaneswar, invites unpublished, original research articles from faculty members from colleges/ universities/ institutions, researchers from think tanks/ policymaking bodies, and research scholars on any contemporary issues in economics. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. The school aims at bringing eminent researchers, academicians, and PhD scholars together to facilitate exchange of research work and stimulating free flow of ideas.

Best paper award: Outstanding research works by doctoral students will be considered for best paper awards.

  • Providing a platform for showcasing ongoing research work and obtaining valuable feedback
  • Enabling interactions to discuss emerging issues in economics
  • Providing networking opportunities and collaboration for students, early career and senior researchers

Submission:

  • Original and unpublished full paper with an abstract of max 300 words, keywords, and at least two JEL classifications in pdf or Word format may be submitted at the link: https://forms.gle/8XN5RwTz8F3ob4ui7
  • Papers should have the names and affiliations of all authors with the email ID and phone number of the corresponding author
  • Papers may be theoretical or empirical addressing issues related to the topics mentioned above

  • Academician / Researcher INR 3000 (inclusive of GST)

Logistics :

Accommodation

Limited accommodation on campus may be provided on request subject to availability. It will be chargeable as per the norms of the University. The presenter has to inform in advance. PhD students presenting paper may be exempted from accommodation charges.

Travel grants

  • If a PhD scholar is a paper presenter, they may be given travel support on reimbursement basis subject to the production of documents.
  • No travel allowance will be provided to attendees.
