International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Economics (ICCIE 2022)

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

ICCIE 2022 was a three-day international conference organised by the School of Economics, XIM University. The conference served as a forum for researchers and practitioners working in the development and application of frontier areas to share their ideas. It aimed to build networks within academia and provide a platform for exploring emerging trends and contemporary issues in economics. The conference welcomed both theoretical and empirical papers from various branches of economics.

The conference was conducted in a hybrid mode, enabling participants to present their papers either virtually or in person at the University. Travel and accommodation facilities and expenses were not provided by the organisers. However, participants presenting their papers in person were provided with lunch packets, snacks, and a conference kit.

ASSOCIATION:

This conference organized by the School of Economics, XIM University, in association with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).

JOURNAL Tie-Up:

Participants in the conference were invited to submit their papers for publication consideration in a Special Issue (December 2022) of the journal Studies in Microeconomics (SAGE). All papers submitted for consideration in the special issue underwent the journal’s standard review process.

Announcement of Result: January 20, 2022 (EOD)

Last date of payment (only for presenters): January 27, 2022 (EOD)

BEST PAPER AWARDS:

The two best papers were selected exclusively from submissions by research scholars for the Best Paper Awards. The first and second awardees received certificates and prizes worth INR 3,000 and INR 2,000, respectively.
