2nd International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Economics
February 20-21, 2025 (Thursday & Friday)
Introduction:
The School of Economics, XIM University Bhubaneswar, invites unpublished, original research articles from faculty members from colleges/ universities/ institutions, researchers from think tanks/ policymaking bodies, and research scholars on any contemporary issues in economics. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. The school aims at bringing eminent researchers, PhD scholars and postgraduate students together to facilitate exchange of research work and stimulating free flow of ideas.
Best paper award: Outstanding research work among the papers will be considered for best paper award.
Poster presentation: Submission for a session on poster presentation for students pursuing postgraduate programmes in Economics and PhD scholars at the early stage of research is also invited.

Papers
- Original and unpublished full paper with an abstract of max 300 words, keywords, and at least two JEL classifications in pdf or Word format may be submitted at the link: https://bit.ly/3TxEYun
- Papers should have the names and affiliations of all authors with the email ID and phone number of the corresponding author
- Papers may be theoretical or empirical addressing issues related to the topics mentioned above

Posters (For early-stage PhD Scholars and Postgraduate students)
- Long abstract up to 500 words in pdf or Word format may be submitted at the link https://bit.ly/3TxEYun
- Long abstract should clearly mention the objective, method, main results and relevance of the paper
- Submissions should have the names and affiliations of all authors, programme they are pursuing (Post graduate or PhD), email ID and phone number of the corresponding author

Logistics :
Accommodation
Limited accommodation on campus may be provided on request subject to availability. It will be chargeable as per the norms of the University. The presenter has to inform in advance.
Travel grants
- If a PhD scholar is a paper presenter, they may be given travel support on reimbursement basis subject to the production of documents.
- No travel allowance will be provided to poster presenters and attendees.

The new campus of XIM University Bhubaneswar is located in Harirajpur, Puri district in Odisha. The campus is 17 kms away from Bhubaneswar city.
